About Adposty Project
Intent-matching network
People post what they need or offer right now, and the Adposty platform actively matches opposite intents
Clear local intent, free public visibility, transparent matching, human trust, and a flow so simple that ordinary people actually use it.
Right now, Canada's local marketplace space is already crowded. Kijiji currently shows millions of listings across buy/sell, vehicles, real estate, services, jobs, and other categories.
Adposty is more like about:
- listing assistant
- match assistant
- trust assistant
- local opportunity insights
- simple seller profiel
- repeatable workflow for small providers
Facebook Marketplace is particularly powerful because it combines listings with an enormous pre-existing social audience; Kijiji remains strong for more intentional classified searching.
Google itself is moving in exactly the direction that matters: AI Mode, conversational search, agents, personalization and tools that can find availability and help users take actions.
So yet another:
Adposty = classifieds + better UI
will probably not enough.
That's why we are:
Adposty ≠ Google ≠ Kijiji ≠ Facebook Marketplace.
Scheme
Almost every marketplace concentrates on the person who has something:
FOR SALE
We could give equal importance to the person who wants something.
Think of Adposty as two continuously changing pools:
OFFER DEMAND
I have a room ← MATCH → I need a room
I need a worker ← MATCH → I need a job
I sell a bicycle ← MATCH → I need a bicycle
I teach piano ← MATCH → I need piano lessons
I need a plumber ← MATCH → Plumber available
I have cargo space ← MATCH → Need delivery
I have tickets ← MATCH → Looking for tickets
The matching engine could help the market.
Match documents are participant-owned today.
Semi-live messages
Then comes a next concept: NOW
Current 24-hour lifetime idea is potentially much more important than it looks.
[Adposty] already presents itself around instant ad posts that are fast/free and live for 24 hours.
But we plan to push this much harder.
Google's enormous advantage—its index—is simultaneously a weakness for this particular use case.
Google indexes the world.
Adposty should index what people want NOW.
For example:
🔴 NEED NOW Looking for electrician North York within 2 hours <$180
That's information Google isn't naturally optimized to own.
Resume
Google knows:
what people search for.
Meta knows:
What people engage with.
Amazon knows:
What people buy.
Adposty could specialize in:
What people want right now.
Is it real-time matching between demand and supply?
